Seahawks Attend DMSF Birdland Invite!

C. Dooley

The Seahawks just wrapped up another USA Swimming event this past weekend (6/17-19) when several USA swimmers attended the DMSF Birdland Invitational.

This has been held at the Birdland Aquatic Center on the Northside of Des Moines for 33 years. The Seahawks swam well over the weekend, bettering times and racing swimmers from 20 other teams who traveled from around the Iowa and even from out of state to be there. For all swimmers over the age of 13, the meet was structured as prelims/finals format to determine final placing.
