As businesses and society continues to slowly open up across the State of Iowa, a vast majority of swimming pools are still closed and many are choosing not to open during the summer of 2020. Though local YMCA’s have been given the green light to open, all indoor facilities at schools must remain closed through the month of June, per the Iowa Department of Education. The hope is a decision is made on when schools can allow indoor practices in July, and individual districts will have to decide at that time what is allowed for their community.
