The SDMS Seahawks held their first club meet of the summer season last Thursday (6/15). Over 70 swimmers in the water for the Gray vs. Gold meet. This first meet was a great chance for everyone to get some benchmark times for the start of season. Returning swimmers can also compare their times to the winter SDMS Championship swims.

In order to make the swim meets competitive for all swimmers, the events are swam mixed for each age group. This gives us some great races since everyone with similar times can race each other.

Season is off to a great start!

• Henry Groos took second in the 9-10 Free in the 34.28
• Jack De Meyer swam the 9-10 100 IM 1:39.46
• Reagan Andersen swam the 9-10 50 Back in a 49.89
• Adam Morlan won the 11-12 50 Back in 43.74
• Tyler Rewarts won the 11-12 50 Breaststroke in a 49.95
• Katreena Baenisch swam her 11-12 50 Breaststroke in 1:03.98
