The SDMS swimmers traveled to another USA meet this past weekend (6/16-18). DMSF hosted a meet at the Birdland Pool located by North High School. Over 22 teams attended the meet, making some great competition throughout the meet!

Friday night’s session kicked off with Cat Dooley swimming the 800 Free in 11:53.87. After several more sessions, Sunday evening ended with Aubrey Douds swimming the 50 Free in a 30.51.

Meet Highlights
Below are just a few highlights from the meet. Full meet results can be found on Meet Mobile.

• Aubrey Douds made finals in the 13-14 Girls 50 Free (30.51) and took 3rd overall!
  • She also made finals in the:
    • 100 Free, placing 4th overall with 1:06.95
    • 100 Fly, placing 6ht overall with a 1:16.36
• Erica Benson made finals in the 15 and Over Girls 100 Fly and swam a 1:29.15
• Brianna Neifert made finals with her fast 13-14 Girls 200 Free time of 2:44.01 (-20+ seconds!)
  • She also made finals in the 100 Back finishing with a 1:26.11
• Courtney Meyer swam the 13-14 Girls 100 Breaststroke in a 1:45.67
• Shaun Slycord made finals in the 13-14 Boys 100 Breaststroke in a 1:31.89
• Hayley Neifert dropped 3.59 seconds in her 11-12 Girls 50 Free to a 38.75
• Keegan Kraft dropped over 8 seconds in his 9-10 Boys 50 Back (49.56)!
• Lauren Benson swam her 13-14 Girls 50 Free in a 33.57
