Winter Registration Closes Soon!

The winter club season registration will close soon! If your “fish” attends school in Carlisle, Norwalk or on the Southside of Des Moines, we’d love for you to give club swimming a try!

Athletes attend ability-specific practices and swim at club meets to better their times, where they can earn ribbons based on their place. Plus, there will a big championship meet at the end of the season where the swimmers will have chance to win medals!

Season Dates: October 23-February 28*
Season Fee: $255/Novice or Intermediate swimmer & $285/Advanced swimmer

We offer a few different practice options to accommodate family needs, high school practice and other club practices. Rails High School swimmers had to change their practice schedule this year to 4-6PM daily. This resulted in some changes to the club schedule, but we’re happy to still offer 6-7PM practice slots to all three levels listed below. Currently, Tues/Thurs 6-7PM practice slots are almost sold out!

Novice/Intermediate Swimmers:
– Tues/Thurs 6:00-7:00PM & Sat 11:30AM-12:30PM
OR
– Tues/Thurs 7:00-8:00PM & Sat 12:30-1:30PM

Advanced Swimmers:

– Mon/Wed/Fri 6:00-7:00PM & Sat 10:00-11:00AM

Advance swimmers also have the option to join the SDMS USA Swimming team. USA team members travel to other meets around the metro and compete against swimmers from all over Iowa. These meets are an extra fee, which is why we reserve it for swimmers who are more advanced. It is a great way to get practice racing some of the top swimmers in each age level.

*Note: We will have a winter break during the middle of season. Also – at times practice will be cancelled due to high school or middle school home meets. These missed days are reflected in the cost of our program, which boasts the best swimmer-to-coach ratio in the metro!

Just a reminder: If you registered and paid for “Year-round” club swimming, you would have already chosen your winter club season spot in March and DO NOT need to re-register.

MidWest Regionals
Swimmers who qualify for the MidWest Regionals meet in Minnesota can practice an additional month and will swim in the big two day meet, April 7-8! If your child qualifies for this meet and choses to attend, there is an additional fee for meet registration and practice times. This meet is a great opportunity to swim against other swimmers in collegiate pool! Details for the 2018 meet will be posted in early 2018 as the meet dates get closer.
