The South Des Moines Swim Team continues to look better and better in the water with each meet that passes! With the weather spelling trouble for the meet in Colfax, the entire team was able to join as one and dominate each race from top to bottom. Though we can’t fit all the huge swims last night below, here are some highlights:

Caia Niemeyer dropping 14 seconds in the 200 free with a time of 2:54.25

Courtney Meyer taking first place in the 50 back with a time of 42.69

Will Chase setting his all time best 25 free hitting 17.66

Sydney Schulz taking first place and setting a personal best in the 25 breast stroke with a time of 27.41

Hunter Evans anchoring the medley relay with a personal best 31.61 in the 50 free

Full Meet Results are online from Monday’s home meet. Because of all of the “combining” we did for the meet, be sure to trust the place on your ribbon and don’t worry about the place on the PDF. All splits and times are correct.

The team combines as one again next week to swim against Boone at home. Keep up the great work swimmers!
