The annual Lincoln High School Swimming & Diving Invitational was held last Saturday (9/28). It was a full house with tons of fans sporting Pink in the Pool t-shirts, bracelets and more. Plus – we had some club families in the stands supporting the team. THANK YOU to all those folks!

The Rails won the LHS Invite: Pink in the Pool over six other teams! The girls swam great and had some awesome times. You can read more about the meet and see photos on the Rails website.

As part of Pink in the Pool, all proceeds from admissions, concessions, programs sales, raffles, T-shirt sales and wristband sales will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Iowa to support breast cancer research and awareness.

And because we are donating towards a good cause, we wanted to give our club families the chance to participate Pink in the Pool too!

While we aren’t holding another meet, we do have some extra limited edition T-shirts and bracelets that say Pink in the Pool on them. All proceeds from these items will join the donation to Susan G. Komen of Iowa.

They will be available for purchase at the Open House next Monday (10/7). T-shirt sizes range from Youth Large to Adult XXL.

To make our SDMS Pink in the Pool Open House special, we are doing another raffle! Anyone who buys a Pink in the Pool bracelet ($1) gets one ticket. Anyone who buys a Pink In the Pool swim cap ($5) gets three tickets. Anyone who buys a Pink in the Pool T-shirt ($12) gets six tickets!
