SDMS is back from break! This coming week (1/13), we have almost a full week of practice. It’s a great chance for everyone to get back in top swimming shape for the meet the following Monday.

The meet is against the Northwest Swim Club (NWSC). Warm-ups will begin at 5:15PM and the meet starts at 6:00PM. The meet sign up will open Monday (1/13) and closes Thursday (1/16) at noon. Be sure to get signed up during this timeframe, as we can’t accept late entries.

Just a reminder – we only have two meets left before the big Conference Meet! Don’t forget that all swimmers need to participate in at least two club meets each season.

Also – we’ll be aiming for another Conference Championship (7 straight!). All club swimmers are expected to participate in this meet that culminates the entire season. There they’ll have a chance at medals and ribbons. Plus – we taper for the meet, so most of our swimmers see new best times! That makes all the practices worth it! The Conference Meet is February 21 and 22 (depending on age). Each session lasts 2-3 hours. More details will be shared as the meet gets closer.
