SDMS and Altoona both brought their full teams to Monday’s dual meet at Lincoln High School, but the late night meet didn’t stop the Seahawks from continuing to drop time and improve on the season. With the additions of 4 more MN qualifiers from Monday, the South Des Moines Seahawks have qualified 29 swimmers to the Midwest Regional Meet in Minnesota in April!

Highlights Included:

  • Caden Stumbaugh going a 20.26 in the 25 free!
  • Taylor Klinge anchoring the 11-12 medley relay in a 50 free split of 30.43!
  • Miguel Espinoza hitting a personal best 100 free time of 1.03!
  • Ellie Sizemore setting her best 100 IM time with a 1.31!
  • Sam Wilson qualifying to the MN Meet with a 1.18 100 free!
  • Tori Dudley setting a personal best 25 back time of 21.63!

Up Next: The Seahawks now start to prepare for the 2014 Conference Championship on February 21 and 22 hosted at Lincoln High School. Ages 11 and up swim on the 21st, while ages 10 and younger swim on the 22nd. More info to come this week.
