The Seahawks have added something new to the Fall Swim Camp for Advanced/USA Elite swimmers, a 5-6PM practice for invited middle school swimmers. Both groups began practice September 3rd to get ready for the upcoming seasons.
The middle school group hopes to dominate the middle school swim season (boys & girls!) and take top spots at the City Meet at the end of the season. The full middle school girls roster can be seen online. All other middle school swimmers can sign up for club swimming and swim October 20-February 23. Middle school swimming through DMPS has gone through some changes for this season, so check out more details at http://www.railswimming.com.
Meanwhile the elementary elite swimmers are hitting the water hard to prepare for early USA swim meets and qualify for Regionals in multiple events! The Seahawks hope to send even more swimmers to the big Minnesota meet and improve over our top 25 finish last year.
With the shift of some middle schoolers practicing at 5PM, we were also able to open up an extra Novice/Intermediate practice slot. If you know anyone interested in giving swimming a try. Now’s a great time!
Wondering what slots are still open? Check out this update for more information.
