Sign ups are now open for the first ever Seahawk Sprint Classic swim meet. This club meet will be a fun one with some differences from our standard club meets.

The first big change will be the events. There will be shorter distance relays and individual events open to all age-groups. Check out the full event list to see all of the possibilities. Note: the 100 yard stroke events are not available to 8 & Under swimmers. However, they can swim the 100 Free if they would like.

The second difference will be the way ribbons are awarded. The meet will be seeded by age-group with boys and girls swimming together, seeded by time – just like for all club meets this summer. However for the Sprint Classic, the girls and boys will also be competing against each other within their age-groups. In other words, boys and girls will be battling for the same ribbons. This will ensure some fun, competitive races and should be a lot of fun to watch!

The last change involves the number events your child can swim. Instead of only being able to swim three individual events, they can swim four. Plus – they’ll be in at least one relay!

Be sure to get signed up by June 19th to participate in this meet. Simply use the button in the sidebar and you’ll be taken to a special Seahawk Sprint Classic meet sign-up form.
