SDMS had their last “dual” meet of the season on Monday (2/8)! This time the meet was a standard intersquad club meet, with traditional distances and seeding. The SDMS Seahawks went to Ames for their first USA meet after the winter break this past weekend (1/15-17). The ACAC Winter Classic meet was full of strong competition. Over the weekend the SDMS USA swimmers, headed to SE Polk High School for the Riptide’s Capital City Classic swim meet (12/4-12/6). The Seahawks headed Johnston’s Summit Middle School this past weekend (10/24-10/25) to compete at the CIA Fall Mixer USA swim meet. The team had 25+ personal best races and season has just begun! SDMS scored 568.5 points as a whole and had three additional Midwest Regional qualifications.
